Layered tag

Hi friends..I have come up with this colorful and fun Tag while i was trying to create something with layers..

The base is black and up on that is yellow cardstock..then Patterned orange felt..red felt.. topped with cute Flower embellishments from Itsy Bitsy...And over the edges of the tag i have used multicolor threads..and on both corners is fan-shaped, hand-cut felt  in contrasting colors which is going out of the edges to give it that over the edge look!

Diwali Diya

Hii Everyone..This is my new post for the Diwali Celebrations.. I am fond of decorating Diyas, Aarti thali,Rangolis on the occassion of Diwali..and colorful..sparkling Diyas adds glitter to the festivity..I have decorated this diya with metallic gold as base color..pink and green sequins..Itsy Bitsy glitters..and rhinestones..

       

 

Decorated diyas add beauty to rangolis as well as Aarti thalis. And what better way to start New beginning than lighting them up as one enters their New Home :)

Hiii Friends!..am back with this creation of mine..a CAS card with a hand-cut cute lil felt house..which says "Home is Where the Heart is "...Dedicating this card to my Family :)

    

This card is also apt for greeting dear ones on their housewarming celebration, Congratulating them for their New Beginning in their New Home with a sweet message inside like "may those who visit your home feel the love residing there.."

Hiii to All my Blogger friends..

Havn't been around blogging zone for last few months..Managed to get myself enrolled at a reputed designing Institute.Its a Continuing Education Programme for creative enthusiasts like us:) so got tied up with assignments n all.. Anyways..So here i am with a new post..while going through my Reading list i found ItsyBitsy Challenge related to jewellery!! Its become my new passion..

           So here it is..my handcrafted earring Danglers made of Pearl Beads n Other shiny tiny beads..all in white and bling..Hope you guys like it.

CAS card and Foam cutouts

Hii..This is another card i made along with the first one. Its a CAS card..well i must admit that i dint know what CAS meant..so i googled and it said "Clean And Simple" card. It does sound simple but wasnt so simple for me, as i have made cards occasssionally but CAS cards, so when i thought to make one it did seem harder to come up with an idea which should say "More with Less". Here is the card i made..

It says how a person/friend/family is that extra special in our life among the rest...i think i have started liking the concept of CAS and plan to make more of such cards for occassions to come

The flower and the bird are used as simple embellishments, i cut them out of velvet foam which i liked working with b'coz of its texture and its lightweight and cuts smoothly

Double Pocket Card

Hello everyone...welcome...well this is my first project post on my blog..so quite excited about posting it but hope i manage to link and set up images and everything well..i dint know what to start with and then i came across few challenges and thought to give it a try..so here i made a card keeping the requirements in mind.

This card with double pocket holds tags with special messages and more so its perfect to put in a surprise gift voucher..cash..cash envelope or a cute little present :-)

Below is the closer look of the embellishments..the flowers are handpainted and punched while the butterfly is handcut and painted. The satin ribbon is slid down to open the card..

Since this was my first time posting, it took me time to get hold of photography trying to get the right angle,background,lighting and color.And also the right image and pixels size, nevertheless its a good experience to start blogging and looking forward to learning more, so your comments and suggestions are always welcome..
